Transformations of Melitopol specialised secondary school # 23 we have been observing since 2016. All this time, school staff is working on implementation of interactive methods of work, a cross-cutting approach to the development of pupils' civic competences, using the project approach in an educational process - both during lessons and in extracurricular work. Teachers and school administrators cooperate with different organisations and initiatives to maximize the opportunities of combination of formal and non-formal education for the development of democratic citizenship. Teachers are constantly studying, participating in trainings, training programs, internships. Teachers of this school were activly participanting in creative workshops of the project financed by Erasmus+ programme. The transformations that have been done in style of managing the educational institution, in the approach to teaching, in collaboration with the parents community and in the partnership with youth / community organisations in video describes Olena Tyurina (director), teachers Natalia Kidalova and Irina Yeliseyeva, Oksana Osadchuk, head of the school board, and pupils.
